In 2013 ZANINELLI BAGNI presents “Masi Alti” Collection, once again in cooperation with Mr. MrSmith® Studio/Milano.

After the success of the CNC Collection designed by Marco Mascetti and Michele Menescardi, Luca Zaninelli suggests renewing the collaboration with the studio.
The initial idea is to offer the atmosphere of altitude to all mountain friends throughout the year, simply by opening a door in their own home. The project begins with the recycling of construction material that composed old barns that had fallen into disuse and disrepair.
Antique materials, purity of shapes and formal austerity blend to create an ensemble within the room concept.

To give a second noble life to these materials means not forgetting our past, when life was characterized by less comfort and followed the seasonal cycle. This is the ever present message of the bathroom concept created by MrSmith® Studio.

The materials:
– floor and wall covering made of brush-finished cement panels
– wall covering and furnitures made of original antique sun burnt wood, natural brushfinished, result of a careful recovery of wooden exterior walls of acient barns, abandoned to decay
– book shelve made of crude metal
– crystal clear glass shower enclosure
– bathtub and integral sink made of “Emperor Porphyr”


The “Masi Alti” collection by ZANINELLI BAGNI (design Mr. SmithStudio) comprises:

- Wall hung vanity unit: The wall hung vanity unit features one large push to open drawer and a countertop of Trentino's porphyr with integral, carved out sink.

- Wall hung bathroom furniture: The spacious bathroom cupboard with two push to open drawers can also be used as a bench.

- Masi Alti bathtub: Meditation bathtub for those who like to sprawl and take relaxing dips in hot water after a cold day.

- Masi Alti shower tray: Large walk-in porphyr stone shower tray for inset installation.
