Designed to fit the specific needs of the retail and large scale distribution worlds, new lighting fixtures OPTAGON combine the best of the latest generation in LED technology, the excellence of TARGETTI’s optics and intelligent constructive solutions to offer a very innovative lighting tool which accompanies with extraordinary efficiency the retail experience.. The recipe of their significant success is their ability to show the individual quality of each product they light. They succeed because their "optical brain" tailor-made for the LEDs is shaped to give a perfect light for every need. Their extraordinary performative versatility is mostly evident in terms of color rendering. By asking the producer or by simply regulating the on-board switch, each standard fixture becomes a kind of "unique" that not just emits a good light (white, uniform and extraordinarily rich in spectral composition), but gives you exactly the light you want: each different modulation of the beam corresponds to a version of the fixture, each one with its own color temperature.

The OPTAGON optical “brain” is composed by 4 octagonal reflectors. Inside each reflector there are 4 last generation LEDs: each of them can be different in terms of colour, colour temperature and power. The light emitted by each source is mixed, harmonized and softened by the optics. The result is a single virtual “focus” of perfectly homogeneous light.

Strict management of light beams, carefully controlled within the optics, allows to direct light only where needed. The eyes of the customers are relieved from any form of glare and enjoy the maximum visual comfort. OPTAGON ensure a high control of the emissions outside the visible spectrum too: no UV and no heat go to interfere with the preservation of perishable goods.

Once  installed, the exact correspondence between the lighting concept and the actual performance is ensured by a rigorous post-production test.

Maintenance of equipments requires zero commitment: the use of highest quality LED sources and the adoption of innovative thermal management solutions avoid efficiency reduction and ensure a minimum of 50,000 hours duration. For the next 10 years you won’t have to worry about light.

Last but not least, the essential design and the formal coherence that distinguishes the OPTAGON in all versions and applications (suspended, recessed or projectors) allow to perfectly integrate the fixtures within the overall project.
